20 ft containers are the most demanded transport containers. They weigh about 2 tons and are sized 6.06х2.44х2.60 m (LхWхH).

Their internal sizes are 5.90x2.35x2.39 m (LxWxH).

The capacity is up to 30 tons. The main purpose is the transportation of piece or small-sized cargo. When determining the cargo dimensions, consider the internal volume of a 20 ft container, which is about 33 m3.

A 20 ft container is made of 3 mm profiled metal sheets on a steel frame, with corrosion protection. The container floor, a 30 mm wooden flooring, is entrenched to handle heavy small-sized goods. Double doors have a reliable anti-vandal locking system.

Types of 20 ft containers: refrigerated; tank containers (for transporting liquid media); with ventilation system; with removable roof (Open Top).

40 ft container standard sizes facilitate and cheapen their shipment by different modes of transport. They are used to transport heavy and bulky, consolidated, oversized cargo within the country and abroad.

A 40 ft container size – 12.19 m long, 2.43 m wide, 2.59 m high.

A 40 ft container internal size – 12.02 m long, 2.35 m wide, 2.39 m high.
The capacity – 67,7 m3, the tare weight – 3.9 tons.

When choosing a maritime 40’ container, consider its max payload of 26.5 tons; the cargo sizes should be slightly less than the container’s internal sizes.

A container has a robust steel frame covered with corrugated metal sheets and a floor of 30 mm plywood. Steel sliding doors at the end open almost the entire opening width for easy and convenient loading.

Types of 40 ft containers: standard (Dry Cube); with enlarged height (High Cube); refrigerated; with removable roof.

45 ft High Cube Cargo Worthy Shipping Containers are in high demand due to their enlarged capacity. Their outer size – 13.72 m long, 2.5 m wide, and 2.75 m high.

Their capacity is about 30 tons. They are used to transport heavy, consolidated, oversized cargo, including special equipment, cars, etc. Due to standardized dimensions, these containers are suitable for international forwarding.

A 45 HCPW container internal size – 13.52 m long, 2.44 m wide, 2.54 m high.
The usable volume – 85 m3, the tare weight – 4.1 tons.

These containers ensure tightness and corrosion resistance. A robust metal frame is covered with a 3 mm profile sheet. A container has double steel doors, a roof (a removable canvas roof, in some models), and a 30 mm wooden floor.

Types of 45 HCPW containers: with standard height (Dry Cube); with enlarged height (High Cube); with a removable roof; refrigerated.
